My name is Selidji Laleye.I live in a suburb of Dallas, Tx. I am originally from Benin, a small country in West Africa. I am a born again Christian and I will be nothing if not for the love of Christ. I am married to the LOVE of my life Ola and we have a precious son called Yemi who was born in May 2011. Parenthood is the greatest thing that happened to us! We love our son more than words can ever express.
I stumble upon blogs a few months after the birth of my son and I was hooked!!!!!! Home design blogs, DIY blogs, mommies blogs and all the others. Who knew they were such a community of inspiring people out there? I didn't.
I decided to start my own blog to share my story. I wanted to remember the details of our lives. I also want to share my faith and the MOST amazing journey that I ever been on : motherhood. I can't believe that God has given me and trusted me to be the mother of the most amazing little boy ever. I want to share it all, the goods and the not so good, the joys and the disappointments. All of it. I want to keep things real.
In my spare time I enjoy the company of my family, going to church, meeting new people, shopping at thrift stores and getting good deals. I recently started following the Paleo diet although on very rare occasion I do cheat.
