So Much to be Thankful for: Thanksgiving 2012
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
I just want to say that I love this holiday! LOVE! It means so much to me.
Growing up, we never celebrated thanksgiving in my home country because it just did not exited. But since coming to the states in 2003, I have loved everything this holiday stand for. Taking one day out of the whole year and being thankful and grateful for family, friends and all that we have.
There is no way I could possibly list everything I am thankful for because God is so good to me!

My first visit to Trader Joe's!
Yesterday I went to Trader Joe's for the very first time and it was fun. After reading from so many real food/paleo blogs how awesome Trader Joe's was, I have to say it did not disappoint.
The prices were really reasonable compares to Whole Food. I liked the fact that the store was not huge, I was able to go through each aisle without feeling overwhelmed. They have a great selection of organic food.
Here is what I got:
- The famous $2.99 wine for Ola
- Some organic broccoli slaw, some chopped spinach, some organic strawberries, organic apple sauce
- Kerry gold butter, chicken breast, raw sunflower seeds , European style yogurt and last but not least some chocolate croissants. I can't wait to try those chocolate croissants, I know they are not paleo but they remind me so much of my childhood.

A day at the pumpkin farm
Hello!
So yesterday I took Yemi to a pumpkin farm not too long from our home. Since it was the last day of October there were almost no pumpkins left but we manage to take a few pictures with the pumpkins.
Here they are:
At first he was not having it,
Every time he wants me to pick him up, he raises his hand like that
oh how I LOVE this picture : classic Yemi
We saw a horse,
Yemi did not like getting on the pony
We also saw some goats,
chicken
Then they had some bounce house so Yemi had fun there too.
And lastly we went trough the hay maze
It was a very fun day and I enjoy learning more in shooting manual with my DSLR!
